Welcome to the website where everything is about just one person:
Christopher Marlowe
He wrote the most successful plays of his time. As a poet, he was an unrivalled role model for a whole generation. Like no other, he recognised the innermost part of the human being, which he relentlessly brought to the stage. No one before him ever described horror in such beautiful verse. For the theatre he created professional killers, felt sympathy with the devil and was the first to write a drama about Faust.
The website consists of two parts.

Marlowepedia is a reference work that contains (unfortunately still far from all) information about Christopher Marlowe’s biography, his works and their reception. | Bibliografie is a database of over 2,000 literature titles about Christopher Marlowe. |
Initially, this was supposed to be a wiki (hence "Marlowepedia"), but I failed because of the software. Besides, it’s a one-person project at the moment anyway. I have tried to take the greatest possible care, but something is certainly not correct somewhere. So whoever finds an error, please do not keep it, but let me know so that I can correct it. Questions, suggestions and constructive criticism are always welcome by e-mail. Thank you and enjoy the fascinating world of Christopher Marlowe.
